Turned out to be a gorgeous and fabulous weekend. Matt turned the Big 29, right behind me. We are only 27 days apart in age. He isn't big on birthdays, but I love any reason to celebrate. I decided last minute, 2 weeks ago, to throw a cook out for him. Luckily, most everyone was in town and able to make it. We had about 20 people for dinner, then the party crowd stuck around for refreshments and late night fun! Good food, and great company- don't think he would have wanted his birthday spent any other way!
Sunday we went up to Dayton for his family Birthday dinner. Sat around outside enjoying the bright blue sunshiny skies. Then his mom made a delicious dinner that we topped off with ice cream cake. Overall, a pretty awesome birthday weekend!
